Xavier has gone a perfect 6-0 against Waverly-Shell Rock recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Saints will welcome the Go-Hawks at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Xavier has five straight victories, Waverly-Shell Rock has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, Xavier humbled Washington with a 42-15 victory. Considering the Saints have won four games by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Waverly-Shell Rock didn't have quite enough to beat Mason City on Friday and fell 31-28.

Xavier's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Waverly-Shell Rock, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Xavier was able to grind out a solid victory over Waverly-Shell Rock in their previous meeting back in August of 2024, winning 14-7. Will the Saints repeat their success, or do the Go-Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
