Football Recap: Deweyville Takes a Loss

Deweyville was the 27-18 winner over West Sabine when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates lost 42-18 to the Tigers on Friday.

Deweyville now has a losing record of 2-3. As for West Sabine, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, Deweyville and West Sabine will both be playing Colmesneil the next time they take the field. The Pirates will host the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on October 10.
