Softball Recap: Civic Memorial Eagles vs. Waterloo Bulldogs
Civic Memorial lost against Waterloo two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-3.

Megan Griffith spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

Civic Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Waterloo, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 14-2.
