Christ School snaps four-game streak of wins on the road

Recap: Christ School Greenies vs. Covenant Day Lions

After a string of four wins, the Christ School Greenies's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 63-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of Covenant Day. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Christ School's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Keenan Wilkins, who scored 20 points along with two blocks. Wilkins hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Jamari Briggs was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five assists.

Christ School's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-5. As for Covenant Day, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Christ School will head out on the road to take on Carolina Day at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carolina Day is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. Covenant Day will take on Charlotte Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Charlotte Christian is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
