Football Recap: Crooms Academy Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Crooms Academy's offense. They took a blow against the Orlando Science Orcas on Thursday, falling 33-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crooms Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Orlando Science, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After each having a week off, Crooms Academy and Lake Mary will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. Crooms Academy has given up an average of 27.8 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. Orlando Science will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lake Mary Prep at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th.
