Recap: Jordan Beetdiggers vs. Hillcrest Huskies
The Jordan Beetdiggers won the last time they faced the Hillcrest Huskies, and things went their way on Friday too. Jordan put the hurt on Hillcrest with a sharp 49-26 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Jordan.
It was another big night for Tess Joseph, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenzie Colunga, who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds.
The win got Jordan back to even at 10-10. As for Hillcrest, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-19.
Jordan will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Stansbury at 7:00 p.m. As for Hillcrest, they will head out on the road to square off against Cottonwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillcrest is coming into the contest with 16 straight losses on the road, meaning Cottonwood will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
