Basketball Recap: Carey Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Carey had won three straight home games and Will Parke did his part to make it four on Thursday. The Carey Panthers strolled past the Richfield Tigers with points to spare, taking the game 56-42 thanks in part to Parke, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

Carey's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Richfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carey will welcome Hansen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carey is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.2 points per game this season. As for Richfield, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Camas County at 7:30 p.m. Camas County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
