Oxford is a perfect 9-0 against Kennedy since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wolverines will be playing at home against the Eagles at 11:00 a.m. Oxford will be strutting in after a win while Kennedy will be coming in after a defeat.

Oxford's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Waterbury Career Academy 25-0. The Wolverines have beaten the Spartans the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Spartans has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Kennedy challenged Woodland Regional on Friday. The Eagles came up short against the Hawks, falling 12-2. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Hawks: they've now lost nine in a row.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Oxford, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Everything went Oxford's way against Kennedy in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Oxford made off with an 8-1 victory. Will the Wolverines repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
