Basketball Recap: Anchor Bay Comes Up Short

Anchor Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-45 heartbreaker at the hands of the Utica Eisenhower Eagles. The Tars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in January of 2022.

Anchor Bay's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Utica Eisenhower, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-13.

Coming up, Anchor Bay will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Sterling Heights at 7:00 p.m. As for Utica Eisenhower, they will challenge Grosse Pointe North at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grosse Pointe North will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Utica Eisenhower surely won't give up without a fight.
