Potomac Falls won the last time they faced Briar Woods, and Troy Hooper did his part to make sure it happened again. The Potomac Falls Panthers came out on top against the Briar Woods Falcons by a score of 68-56 on Monday with plenty of help from Hooper, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 11 boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 8.1 rebounds per game.

The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Orbida, who posted 15 points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in field goal percentage (67%).

Despite the loss, Briar Woods still got an impressive performance from Nick Donatella, who went 7-for-12 on his way to 17 points. Briar Woods is 3-1 when Donatella posts 15 or more points, but 7-14 otherwise. Jaden Keltz was another key player, going 5-for-8 en route to 12 points.

Potomac Falls is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 19-6 record this season. Briar Woods dropped their record down to 10-15 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Potomac Falls didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-40 defeat against Riverbend on the 26th. Briar Woods does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
