Football Game Preview: St. Cloud Bulldogs vs. Horizon Hawks

The St. Cloud Bulldogs will head out to take on the Horizon Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Cloud will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

St. Cloud's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Innovation 26-0. Considering the Bulldogs have won four matches by more than 25 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Horizon earned a 13-0 win over Windermere on Thursday. The final result isn't all the surprising considering the Hawks' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 15th, while the Wolverines are ranked 115th).

St. Cloud's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.8 points on average over those games. As for Horizon, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-1.

St. Cloud ended up a good deal behind Horizon in their previous matchup back in April of 2023, losing 19-2. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
