Scott has gone a perfect 10-0 against Southwestern Heights recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Beavers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. Scott is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.

Scott came up short against Goodland last Tuesday, falling 18-10. Even if the Beavers couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Crissa Irvin was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Felker, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, Southwestern Heights suffered their closest loss since April 15th on Monday. They fell just short of Liberal by a score of 5-3. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Scott's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Southwestern Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 15-3.

Everything went Scott's way against Southwestern Heights in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Scott made off with a 17-3 win. Do the Beavers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
