Softball Game Preview: Parker Braves vs. Wolfson Wolfpack

Parker has gone 8-2 against Wolfson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Parker Braves will welcome the Wolfson Wolfpack at 6:00 p.m. Wolfson took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Parker, who comes in off a win.

Parker's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Ribault with a sharp 15-0 victory. The Braves have beaten the Trojans the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Trojans has come to flipping the script.

Ariona Moore made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Moore was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, Sarah Fisher and Aniyah Cherry did most of the damage at the plate: Fisher scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Cherry scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Those four stolen bases gave Fisher a new career-high. Megan Fisher was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Wolfson fell victim to Beachside and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to the Barracudas. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Wolfpack's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Wolfson's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Parker, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Parker might still be hurting after the 19-2 defeat they got from Wolfson when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Parker avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
