Volleyball Recap: Oswego East Extends Winning Streak to Three

Oswego East entered their tilt with St. Rita on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0. For the Wolves, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.

Tyler Vlcek paced Oswego East's offense, picking up 13 kills. Vlcek got some help from Max Coleman and his 24 assists.

Oswego East now has a winning record of 9-8. As for St. Rita, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-14.

Oswego East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against York on the 25th. As for St. Rita, they will challenge Oak Park-River Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
