Basketball Recap: Coon Rapids Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

There's no place like home for Coon Rapids, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 60-58 win over the Jefferson Jaguars on Tuesday.

Coon Rapids pushed their record up to 2-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.5 points per game. As for Jefferson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coon Rapids will venture away from home to challenge Anoka at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Anoka's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Jefferson will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Forest Lake at 3:30 p.m. on December 27th.
