Baseball Recap: Inter-Lakes Takes a Loss

Inter-Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Hillsboro-Deering Hillcats, falling 11-1. The Lakers were not able to make up for their loss to the Hillcats from their previous meeting back in May of 2019.

Inter-Lakes saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cash Frontiero, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Inter-Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Hillsboro-Deering, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.

Coming up, Inter-Lakes will welcome Fall Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hillsboro-Deering, they will take on Somersworth at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
