Volleyball Recap: Alyssa Barnes Key Part of Team Effort in Knights Win + How To Watch

Ocoee won the last time they faced Edgewater and things went their way on Monday too. The Knights blew past the Eagles 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Ocoee never let Edgewater on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14, 26-24.

Ocoee's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alyssa Barnes, who had nine kills and three aces. What's more, Barnes racked up 17 assists, the most she's had over her last three matchups. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Henderson, who had 12 kills, three digs, and two aces.

Ocoee's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Edgewater, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Ocoee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Legacy Charter on the 6th. As for Edgewater, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 win against South Lake on the 30th.
