Emmett lost against Fruitland back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Emmett Huskies came up short against the Fruitland Grizzlies, falling 8-2. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Grizzlies recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Emmett's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Fruitland, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-1-1.
Emmett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fruitland, their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Homedale at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Fruitland's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last eight contests.
