Volleyball Recap: Sterling Jets vs. Pawnee City Indians
Sterling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pawnee City Indians. The Jets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.
The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15.
Sterling's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-6. As for Pawnee City, their win ended an 11-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Falls City the next time they take the court. Sterling will host Falls City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Pawnee City will play them later in the day, at TBD.
