Baseball Recap: Trinidad Comes Up Short

Trinidad was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 9-6 to the Sanford Mustangs. The Miners were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Trinidad saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brett Kendall, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Trinidad's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Sanford, they pushed their record up to 3-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Mustangs beat Trinidad by a score of 15-9 later that day.
