Basketball Recap: Northwest Takes a Loss

Northwest lost against Symmes Valley back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Northwest Mohawks received a blow as they fell 35-18 to the Symmes Valley Vikings. The contest marked the Mohawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Northwest has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Symmes Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-9.

Northwest won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Eastern at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Symmes Valley, they and Western will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played.
