Football Recap: Concordia Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Concordia was not quite Douglas County West's equal in the second half on Friday. The game between the Mustangs and the Falcon didn't end well, with the Mustangs falling 21-7. The matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Drew Kulus threw for 64 yards on ten of 21 attempts. Tanner David was his top target, picking up 33 receiving yards.

Douglas County West's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Trey Olsen, who threw for 142 yards and two TDs. The Falcon also got a significant boost from Ashton Harlow, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 82 yards.

This is the second loss in a row for Concordia and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Douglas County West, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.
