Soccer Recap: Reynoldsburg Comes Up Short

If Reynoldsburg was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Groveport-Madison last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders fell just short of the Lancaster Golden Gales by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Reynoldsburg were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Lancaster apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Reynoldsburg's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5-1. As for Lancaster, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Reynoldsburg will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Pickerington North at 7:30 p.m. As for Lancaster, they will head out to square off against Bishop Hartley at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
