Recap: Bartram Trail Bears vs. Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs
The Bartram Trail Bears and the Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly the Bartram Trail Bears had to settle for second. They fell to the Bulldogs 58-52. Bartram Trail's loss continues an unfortunate trend for the team, making it eight in a row.
Bartram Trail's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ben Labee, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. It was the first time this season that Labee scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Deandre Caldwell, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Bartram Trail's loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Flagler Palm Coast, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.
Bartram Trail does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Flagler Palm Coast, they will square off against Creekside at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Flagler Palm Coast has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 433 points over their last seven matches.
