It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Aniak can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Shaktoolik Wolverines on Friday. The Halfbreeds' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Aniak still got an impressive performance from William Morgan, who had 24 kills, six digs, and one block. With that strong performance, Morgan is now averaging an impressive 5.5 kills per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Shawn Levi, who had seven kills, five digs, and two aces.

Aniak's loss dropped their record down to 26-8. As for Shaktoolik, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Aniak didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Tanalian on the 6th. Shaktoolik does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
