Mattanawcook strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the George Stevens Academy Eagles with a sharp 13-1 victory. Considering the Lynx have won four matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Isaac Ritchie made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Dylan Landry, who got on base in both of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ryan Thibodeau, who earned two runs and two stolen bases.

Mattanawcook always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Mattanawcook pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for George Stevens Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
