Recap: International Studies Eagles vs. Varsity Opponent

The International Studies Eagles had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Varsity Opponent 54-27 on the road. For International Studies, this counts as revenge for the 15-0 defeat Varsity Opponent walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Among those leading the charge was Michael Pahima, who scored 26 points. Jacob Dvora was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

International Studies' victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Varsity Opponent, they have yet to win a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 52-237-3 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. International Studies will face off against Somerset Academy Central Miramar at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Somerset Academy Central Miramar focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Wednesday.
