Baseball Recap: Raytown Takes a Loss

Raytown managed to slip by North Kansas City the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bluejays came up short against the Hornets on Friday, falling 11-1. The matchup marked the Bluejays' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Raytown now has a losing record of 2-3. As for North Kansas City, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Raytown will head out to take on Grain Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.5 runs per game on average), something the Bluejays will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for North Kansas City, they will venture away from home to face off against Winnetonka at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hornets are facing the Griffins at the right time seeing as the Griffins are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
