Baseball Recap: Grandview Comes Up Short

Grandview fell victim to Raytown South and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Grandview's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9-2. As for Raytown South, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season.

Grandview will be playing at home against Smithville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Raytown South, they will head out on the road to challenge Winnetonka at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
