Basketball Recap: Duke Comes Up Short

Duke was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a hard 42-26 fall against the Tipton Tigers. While losing is never fun, Duke can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 461st, while Tipton is ranked 224th).

Duke's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Tipton, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Duke has already played their next matchup, a 48-31 defeat against Sweetwater on the 11th. As for Tipton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-18 win against Erick on the 11th.
