St. Mary was handed a ten-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Kimball Jaguars. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rams have posted since April 18, 2024.

Matea Muraoka was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Lailah Lyons was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

St. Mary's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-15. As for Kimball, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 16-10.

St. Mary's didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-3 loss against Lincoln on the 6th. As for Kimball, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-0 defeat against Lodi on the 6th.
