Basketball Recap: Jemison Falls to Chilton County in First Game of Season

Jemison unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 41-17 to the Chilton County Tigers on Monday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

The victory got Chilton County back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Jemison is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Holy Family Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chilton County, they will be playing at home against Shelby County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
