Soccer Recap: South Summit Takes a Loss

After soaring to seven goals the game before, South Summit was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They fell just short of the American Leadership Academy Eagles by a score of 1-0. South Summit were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as American Leadership Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2021.

South Summit's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-6. As for American Leadership Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

As for American Leadership Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, an 8-0 victory against Utah Military Academy - Hill Field on the 23rd.
