Volleyball Recap: Winslow Comes Up Short

Winslow lost against Show Low back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Cougars. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brielle Becenti paced Winslow's offense, picking up three kills. Becenti got some help from Keira Barton and her four assists.

Winslow's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11-1. As for Show Low, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Winslow is set to challenge their familiar foe Snowflake at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Show Low will square off against rival Holbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
