Basketball Recap: Clarke County Eagles vs. The Covenant Eagles
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wilson Memorial, Clarke County was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 38-31 victory over The Covenant Eagles. The win was a breath of fresh air for Clarke County as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.
Clarke County can attribute much of their success to Jacob Taylor, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 13 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lincoln Booker, who posted eight points and six boards.
