Softball Recap: Augusta Takes a Loss

Augusta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to the Bellevue Tigers. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Augusta's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Bellevue, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bellevue beat Augusta by a score of 16-2 later that day.
