For the second straight game, Wyoming Area will face off against Holy Redeemer. The Warriors will face off against the Royals at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Wyoming Area is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

Wyoming Area is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 12 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Holy Redeemer on Saturday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royals. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

For Holy Redeemer's part, Cody Quaglia spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up eight Ks. Quaglia has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Drew Cisney, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alex Gordon, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Holy Redeemer hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wyoming Area struck out seven times.

Wyoming Area's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Holy Redeemer, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.
