Football Recap: Twentynine Palms Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Twentynine Palms's offense. They took a blow against the Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs on Friday, falling 28-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Mighty Arabs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Ivan Camargo had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 282 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 9.7 yards per carry for Coachella Valley. Those 282 rushing yards gave Camargo a new career-high.

Twentynine Palms' loss dropped their record down to 4-5. As for Coachella Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-5.

Twentynine Palms wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 49-0 defeat against Yucca Valley on the 30th. As for Coachella Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 37-7 victory against Indio on the 30th.
