There's no place like home for Indian Trail, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Racine Case Eagles on Wednesday as they made off with a 9-2 win. Considering the Hawks have won four contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Connor Peck looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has become a key player for Indian Trail: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-5 otherwise.
At the plate, Indian Trail got a massive performance out of Jack Zeller, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Cade Minatto, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and two runs.
