Softball Recap: West Orange Takes a Loss

West Orange lost against East Ridge back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. West Orange came up short against East Ridge, falling 20-1. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Orange saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ellie Webster, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

West Orange's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for East Ridge, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, West Orange will take on Boone at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Orange's pitchers better be ready for this one: Boone has averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season. As for East Ridge, they will square off against Grove City Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
