Basketball Game Preview: Alhambra Bulldogs vs. College Park Falcons

Alhambra hasn't had much luck against College Park recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Alhambra Bulldogs will be playing at home against the College Park Falcons at 7:30 p.m.

Alhambra is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Northgate on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Alhambra came up short against Northgate, falling 58-34. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-12.

Meanwhile, College Park waltzed into their match on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Matadors by a score of 73-63.

College Park's win came from a few key players Alhambra will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Miles Cooper, who posted 29 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024. Mathys Joseph was another key player, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards.

College Park pushed their record up to 14-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Alhambra, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.
