Basketball Recap: Ell-Saline Comes Up Short

Ell-Saline entered their game against Moundridge on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Cardinals received a blow as they fell 65-47 to the Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 53-41 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2025.

Ell-Saline's defeat dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Moundridge, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 15-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ell-Saline is set to face off against their familiar foe Central Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Moundridge will square off against rival Inman at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
