Conneaut Area and Cathedral Prep squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Conneaut Area had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Cathedral Prep Ramblers. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ramblers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Olivia Hutchinson was nothing short of spectacular for Cathedral Prep: she had 15 kills, two blocks, and two aces. Hutchinson is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had seven or more in the last 12 games she's played dating back to last season. Kamryn Resurreccion was another key player, getting 32 assists.
