Softball Recap: Lynden Christian Wins Going Away Against Blaine

While Lynden Christian put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Blaine. The Lyncs were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Borderites. Considering the Lyncs have won four matches by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lynden Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Blaine, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lynden Christian will take on rival Mt. Baker at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Blaine is set to face off against their familiar foe Nooksack Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
