Volleyball Recap: Regis Groff's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thomas Jefferson, Regis Groff was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the DSST: Conservatory Green Hornets. That's more bragging rights for the Fusion, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Regis Groff had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-21, 25-14, 25-19.

Leah Torres and Arwen Abrego certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Torres had 24 digs and two aces, while Abrego had 11 digs.

Regis Groff's win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 12-11. As for DSST: Conservatory Green, their loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-12.
