Baseball Game Preview: Northwest Webster Cougars vs. South Central Calhoun Titans

The Northwest Webster Cougars will head out to take on the South Central Calhoun Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Northwest Webster is looking for their season's first win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Northwest Webster duked it out with Southeast Valley on Friday. The Cougars fell 8-3 to the Jaguars.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Central Calhoun). They put the hurt on Sioux Central with a sharp 13-7 victory on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Northwest Webster's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for South Central Calhoun, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Northwest Webster might still be hurting after the 10-1 loss they got from South Central Calhoun in their previous matchup back in June of 2024. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
