Volleyball Recap: Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Takes a Loss

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sacred Heart Irish. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Irish this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss last Monday.

Elie Bstandig paced Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's offense, picking up 11 kills. Bstandig got some help from PJ Howe and her 13 assists. Lillian Bowen controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Sacred Heart, they now have a winning record of 16-15.

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Meridian on the 23rd. As for Sacred Heart, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Sterling on the 27th.
