Baseball Game Preview: Harvest Prep Warriors vs. Fairfield Christian Academy Knights

Harvest Prep hasn't had much luck against Fairfield Christian Academy recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Knights at 5:30 p.m. Harvest Prep has given up an average of 15.6 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, Fairfield Christian Academy entered their tilt with Miller on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Falcons. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won six matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Fairfield Christian Academy's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Harvest Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Harvest Prep suffered a grim 27-0 defeat to Fairfield Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
