Baseball Recap: Thomas Jefferson Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against L.C. Bird, Thomas Jefferson was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Henrico Warriors. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 9-8 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The victory got Thomas Jefferson back to even at 2-2. As for Henrico, their defeat was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Thomas Jefferson and Henrico will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time Thomas Jefferson sees the field they'll take on West Point at 6:00 p.m. on April 9. As for Henrico, their break will end when they face Mechanicsville at 6:00 p.m. on April 7.
