Softball Recap: Fort Meade Takes a Loss

Fort Meade and Moore Haven squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Fort Meade had to settle for second. They fell 10-7 to the Terriers.

Makayla Deleon was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played. Marleigh Carroll was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Fort Meade's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Moore Haven, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Fort Meade nor Moore Haven have any future games scheduled.
